Suggest the following minor changes:
  • Make it clear the intent of Source and Destination transactions (to give a standard pluggable method for systems to interface with HSPs)
  • Repeat the Source disclaimer on combining with HSP at the Destination side (or provide an overview giving this intent)
  • Feedback that HSP should be glossed as Health Information Service Provider
  • Change message on errors to state: "each concrete implementation should provide robust error handling mechanisms"

I believe there was a clarification that the address is not necessarily a person (user); i.e. the address must allow for addressing to "radiology@sunnyvaleyhospital.example.org"

1) Under Transactions: "Note that some of these steps are optional" needs to read "Note that some of these steps are optional or may be re-ordered."
2) Under "Source" change from "...Typical examples of a Source are a provider EHR..." to "...Source may be as simple as a web browser to as complex as a provider EHR..."
3) Same with "Destination."
