- A registered domain configured for interoperability

- A HISP up and running prior to the event. If you need information standing a test HISP from scratch, refer the Bare Metal project page .
Direct Project December Virtual Connect-A-Thon Agenda
This will be an informal get-together with a limited structured agenda. The conference line / shared presentation will be available starting at 10:30 am EST. Feel free to join or part at any time, or just stay on the line all day. They may even be a surprise presentation to open the event. Stay tuned.
NOTE for ABBI participants:
Direct connect-a-thons are generally informal and loosely structured. They main focus is on interoperability testing at the transport layer, so workflow testing is rarely a point of interest. For ABBI participants, the value propositions for participating are:
- Ensure your implementation can "speak" Direct and transport data/payload to and from a source or destination.
- Test send or receive workflow and the validity of the ABBI specific payload(s).
I would suggest bringing a partner to test your ABBI implementation with. If you are a data source and do not have a test partner, HealthVault is an destination option that provides free Direct accounts available "in the cloud" using various identity and login options. I have spoken with Sean Nolan about promoting HealthVault as a destination target for those that are data holders/senders, and je given us the thumbs up, so I would suggest ABBI participants that want to test sending data to sign up with a Health Vault account (this will be a HV stage environment, not a production environment for real health data). HealthVault has additional value add functions for validating and importing CDA documents to your health record. To establish a trust relationship between HealthVault and your Direct implementation, please contact Ali Emami ([[5]]).
HISPs/Domains
Following are a list of HISPs that will be available for interoperability testing during the Connect-A-Thon.
