Why: Serve as a Connect-A-Thon in order to:
  • Test recent changes to the reference implementations
  • Drive the reference implementations to a production-ready state
Who: Developers from the Reference Implementation WG; Direct Project implementers; Any additional technical resources are welcome.

What to Bring

  • A box accessible on the Internet (e.g., Amazon EC2 instance)
  • A registered domain configured for interoperability
  • Trust anchors and certificates for sharing out-of-band
  • Ideally have a HISP up and running prior to the event


Direct Project December Virtual Connect-A-Thon Agenda

This will be a very informal get-together without a structured agenda. The conference line / shared presentation will be available starting at 10:30 am EST on Monday December 6th. Feel free to join or part at any time, or just stay on the line all day. Some of the areas of interest have been as follows:


  • Test the new Java DNS responder
  • Test the new C# Admin tools
  • Test the many bug fixes that have been committed
  • Volume testing
  • MDN testing
