Meeting Notes
Noam Arzt

  • Had a couple conversations in the WG meetings about creating a vignette about the pilots
  • He didn’t know what a vignette was, so wanted to have this separate meeting to discuss
  • Suggested splitting up the pilots and create a vignette together
  • His expectation was that the vignettes would be a paragraph or two of information pulled from what the pilots have already written about themselves
  • There could be a short paragraph about what they are trying to achieve and another about when they expect to achieve it, the timing and flow of the Direct Project
  • Asked for comments

Karen Donovan

  • Thinks Noam is right on target
  • Brief description of what the pilot is so people can look at one paragraph and really easily understand which user stories they are addressing
  • Isn’t sure how much they will be able to say about the timeframe

Noam Arzt

  • Can say something about testing in December
  • Beside the pilots that are “resource stuck”, there are 3-5 others that are not resource stuck and sort of have timelines

Brian Ahier

  • Should decide elements to include in the vignettes
  • Thinks one of those should be a timeline

Noam Arzt

  • First paragraph: who, what, when, where
  • Second paragraph: timeline

Karen Donovan

  • Holly Miller will take on MedAllies

Noam Arzt

  • Will do
  • RIQI-they have lots of info
  • VisionShare- he knows them, has worked with them

Brian Ahier

  • Can take Redwood MedNet

Noam Arzt

  • Redwood MedNet’s content will be thinner because they don’t at this time have a lot of resources behind them, but it may have advanced

Karen Donovan

  • Can take Medical Professional Services
  • Can also take CareSpark—sparser, interesting because the VA may be involved
  • Asked about the timeline to complete vignette

Noam Arzt

  • Aiming for November 30th rollout
  • Can present to the Communications WG in advance of that

Brian Ahier

  • Might not need a meeting, but a page on the wiki to store the different contributions would be helpful
  • Can follow the same pattern so we don’t have wildly different vignettes

Noam Arzt

  • Would rather put them on the wiki than do it over e-mail, to follow the rest of the project
  • Could have one page with a heading for each or separate pages for each
  • Will be easier to see all in one place, so let’s do just one page with headings
  • The projects themselves should have some review of these vignettes, even if we are drawing from their information that they have made available, they have the right to review
  • Aim for completing, including getting them reviewed by pilots, by the time of the Communications WG meeting on November 23rd
  • Three weeks to sort of write, get them looked at, post
  • Then another week to tinker with them if the committee doesn’t like something
