ONC Direct Exchange Workshop 2017

On June 9, 2017, ONC will host a Direct Exchange Workshop, which will focus on the adoption and use of the Direct specification to improve health IT interoperability. The one-day, in-person event, will highlight a variety of efforts and resources from across the stakeholder community that uses Direct, including DirectTrust, the National Association for Trusted Exchange (NATE), federal agencies, and more. Attendees will focus on optimizing patient and provider experiences using Direct, emerging testing tools for developers, a variety of industry updates, and highlighting innovative uses of Direct.
This is the first time in several years that ONC has hosted such an event, and it should prove to be a great opportunity to connect (or re-connect) with others in the Direct community and to hear some of the exciting things going on in the ecosystem.
